Question Looking to try an AR-15 and an AK at same time.

I would like to compare the two and actually fire them. Do gun shops allow that before you purchase? I don't think Trop allows that (what r your opinions of them??? honestly)

If any member has these two, or you have one and a buddy has the other, could you let me know? If we could meet up and I could shoot both, I'd pay both of you for your time.

We could meet at a convenient location for you or at my house, which has plenty of open area to shoot (100+ acres).

    Thank you!

If your in Lancaster it might be a run for you, but if you came out to Jonestown F&G you could get your hands on both at the same time. I have an AR-15, and I am sure one of the guys could bring an AK.

What are your thoughts between the two? What are you looking for in a rifle?

Did you mean your property is 100+ acres? If so, that would be a much better place to get a full side-by-side comparison. As long as you have an area that can be used as a backstop.

Let me know, I might be willing to help.

PS> Have you ever considered a FAL or G3?

keep an eye on the lebanon section.
there are impromtu get togthers every few months/weeks.
the grill is worth the trip alone.
there are also normally atleast two differently configured ar's.
    and an ak or two.

Not only will you be able to shoot an AK, AR, but I think there will be atleast 2 M1As, more than likely a 50 bmg, ppsh, and more odd ball stuff that you can shake a stick at.

Feel free to bring what ever you have as well.
