Im pumped for this year it cant possibly be any worse than last years weather conditions. I hunt up by pottersdale and there has been some good sign and one guy in my camp saw one in the senior hunt. Well need that bear for the triple crown this year. Good luck guys

Nah, I just don't think it's a good idea to be running around BUCK naked in the middle of hunting season.

I'll be heading up to MeKean Co this weekend. Annuall trip, lots of fun and hunting. But I have yet to bag a bear the 20 or so years of hunting them. I have only seen 3 during the season and shot at one and missed. Hopefully this will be the YEAR!

OK, I'll play serious for a bit. I'll be using .30-06 if I can a make it this year. I've seen several at my camp in Potter County throughout the year, so hopefully I'll get up there for at least one day. Folks from the neighboring camps who spend more time up there tell me the bear population is way up, and a WCO told me hunters bagged about 20 in the area last year.
