some more pics would help but going by the OAL and chamber size as well as manufacture date. I would have to say it's a 20mm Vulcan barrel.

ETA: ok now the other 2 pics are showing up. As for what you should do with it? Sell it to me! I'll be back at Valley Forge in a couple months if you seriously want to sell it.

Please PM me with your phone # and we will talk.
I thought with a little welding work I could shoot potato's out of it!
I will work on it in a couple of days and clean it up a bit.
    Here, More pics.
But give me a couple of minutes.
I live 45 min away from VF show.
But will be at the Days inn show later this month and can bring it with me !

Where in the hell in the "woods" were you?!!! Lucky!

I grew up in Browns Mills myself....right next to FT Dix and McGuire.....the whole military reservation was my playground when I was a kid, found all kinds of stuff also...never nothing like that though!

I have a USGS map/ GPS program running on a laptop and a truck well outfitted for anything that's down there.
I have been through Wharton, Mt Misery and ?Libson?. Plus just about every sand road in the area over the past 20 years.
Was even eating 1" blueberries back in the 80s, Before that sight got a 10' ence and became a superfund sight.
    I feel ok.

I have been reading that you can get live practice rounds for about 100 bucks.
Someone needs to get the papers to turn this into a 50 BMG humilition device.
The 30mm round is good to buts up a tank to 3 miles.
I keep reading,,, 1200 rounds in 17 seconds out of 8 barrels from an aircraft. Over 2 tons of recoil. WOW.

What kind of scope do you plan to put on it? Make sure you have good eye relief. That's gonna leave a mark!
