It's the 20 round mag that makes the 5.7 so evil.

Nope, its the "cop killer" bullets that are used in it. They've even had an episode of "CSI: Miami" where they said how vicious these rounds were, how the could penetrate body armor... All the normal anti crap that comes out of hollyweird.

Edited to put a smiley in it, as all sentences containing something about the anti's trying to legitimize something deserves a jackin' smiley in it.

Seems like the anti Assemblymen really are playing the "throw enough Bills out there, a few are bound to get through" strategy. I very much hope none of these ridiculous bills make it out of Committee.

Perhaps we should propose a bill limiting the number of bills a legislator can propose...or be a co-sponsor of. We can call it the one bill a month law.

Good place to start Dave, but I think that with some of them it should be one bill a session.

It is actually getting comical. They probably know non of it will fly. These guys that propose this are the defination of a useless person. they take a job that they tell everyone they are good at and will help society and cant do jack $hit. So to look effective they do this. I bet if you pull their records they are bottom of the barrel. Do nothing. they get elected because they promise the world to their voters.
