Ammo storage in hot weather.
Hello, random question. I keep a few boxes of EDC backup ammo in my car’s glove box, 230gr +p .45 ACP Speer Gold Dot. It’s been hot unfortunately, and it’s only gonna get worse the next few months. I hate hot weather. Would there be something that I could throw these in that blocks out heat? Some type of container?
This is premium, expensive ammo. I get in my car everyday, I run the AC when I’m in it so, it’s not going to be baking hot in there for extended time periods. Does it even matter? I really hate spring and summer.
If I could have it my way, we’d have 6 months of wonderful, winter weather and 6 months of crisp, cool fall weather. Spring and summer weather would exist in horror and sci-fi movies. It sucks. I’ll never understand how anyone could like hot weather.
Thanks. Stay safe out there.
