Courthouse Policy
I have business in the Lancaster County courthouse tomorrow. I have a CCP, can I bring my firearm into the courthouse? What is the procedure there?

Re: Courthouse Policy
Nutsehll: Guns are not allowed in courthouses. The courthouse is required to provide secure storage for your gun, and most of them do. Some violate the law by refusing to provide secure storage. Even more will hassle you, but finally let you secure your weapon.

Re: Courthouse Policy
CCP? PA issues a LTCF. Yes, you can bring your firearm, just the same as you should be able to at any courthouse in the state as they should provide lockers as prescribed by law.
Specifically at the LanCo courthouse upon declaring you have a firearm to check at the security checkpoint you will be escorted to the room where the lockers are located. You will give the key from the locker to the deputy who will issue you a claim tag. You will then proceed through the security checkpoint like everyone else. When you are ready to leave you stop by the security checkpoint and let a deputy know that you have a firearm to retrieve. They will take your claim tag, get the key, and escort you back to the locker area. From there you load up and leave.

^This.
One note of caution: DO NOT attempt to go through or past the security checkpoint with your firearm unless you are being escorted. Get the attention of one of the guards as soon as you enter the building and prior to the checkpoint.
Many of us have done this without difficulty. Sure there are horror stories out there but I believe Lancaster is generally a 2A-friendly county with the city mayor being the only exception I know of. And the mayor does not run security at the courthouse. While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

What Xavier and Curm said is correct. One thing though, there is at least one deputy there that is a total dickwad. Just so you're aware.
