Arrow Beaver County sheriff ordered to give up his 700 guns.

Beaver County sheriff placed on house arrest
    April 15, 2014 9:57 AM

The sheriff in Beaver County was placed on house arrest Monday and ordered to give up his collection of some 700 guns pending trial on charges of threatening a campaign worker and a reporter.

Visiting Judge Francis Fornelli said he took the action because Sheriff George David had violated the terms of his bond.

The sheriff must surrender his guns, kept in a vault on his Hopewell property, to state police. He will serve house arrest on electronic monitoring, with permission to leave for church and medical appointments.

Sheriff David is awaiting trial on charges of intimidation, assault, terroristic threats and other offenses. He was arrested in March 2013 after a campaign worker said the sheriff threatened to cut his hands off and eat them and an online reporter said the sheriff threatened to shoot him.

He's been arrested, is currently serving house arrest and he's still the active sheriff? How is it that it's been 13 months since his arrest and he still has his firearms?

    "It's Good To Be King"

It's good to be king, if just for a while
To be there in velvet, yeah, to give 'em a smile
It's good to get high and never come down
It's good to be king of your own little town

Yeah, the world would swing if I were king
Can I help it if I still dream time to time

It's good to be king and have your own way
Get a feeling of peace at the end of the day
And when your bulldog barks and your canary sings
You're out there with winners, it's good to be king

Yeah I'll be king when dogs get wings
Can I help it if I still dream time to time

It's good to be king and have your own world
It helps to make friends, it's good to meet girls

It's good to be king, whatever it pays

Excuse me if I have some place in my mind

This has been a long time coming. He is a very bad man. He stole over $94,000 from people who paid cash to buy a LTCF

He's a snide, senile, old man. The people around here are more of the "as long as you leave ME alone" mentality, so they don't really care about what he's been doing.

For a couple years, he "won" a gun at every gun bash his deputies worked.

Good news. He gives CLEO a bad name. Don't understand how he has held on to his guns for as long as he had...

Notice how the sheriff has a "collection" of 700 firearms? If that was you or me, it would have been a cache of military grade weapons all loaded with children-seeking boolits.
