LOL. I don't know but I hope I don't have to do something similar to get it delivered.

Thumbs up Re: heads up on the Ammoman.com

Ammoman is great, when he says free shipping, there are no hidden terms.

Hmmmm, thats twice as much as the (newer) Wolf 223 55gn. Is it twice as good? I'm not trying to be sarcastic, I'm serious, what is the true benefit of this ammo over Wolf (besides the reload ability). what kind of performance increase could I expect for spending twice as much? Educate me

    Hawk,

Just email him and he will give you the days and times that he does over the counter sales. He does request that you call him to give him a headsup before showing up at his place. He also includes a google map for directions.

He did email me and said his over the counter prices are too low to advertise. There is a certain poetic justice in buying ammo in a state that requires permission to buy anything from sling shots on up.

    Hawk,
    Lake City is American made.

All my ARs digest it without problems.

It is made to Sammi specifications.

    It is reloadable.

To get a comparable round made overseas, you would have to purchase Serbian Privi Partizan which costs about the same as the Lake City.

I do buy Wolf ammunition but have had mixed results with it. When ever we get together to blow some rounds down range my choice would be the less expensive Wolf. For having good quality ammo stockpiled, i will always choose the Lake City above most other brands.
