Attempt to recall/remove Grover Norquist from NRA Board
http://www.recallgrover.com/
he NRA has a singular mission—to protect our rights as citizens by defending the 2nd Amendment to our nation’s Constitution. The 2nd Amendment is at the core of our personal and national security. Never has that security been more at risk than it is today.
It is not overly dramatic to say that the election cycle of 2016 is the most important in our lifetimes. The NRA needs to be more laser focused than ever before. Every bit of available NRA resources in time, staff and money must be invested to advance the candidates who believe as we do. There must be no distraction.
Unfortunately, a significant distraction has arisen at the Board level. Therefore this petition is submitted for the recall of NRA Board Member Mr. Grover Norquist. Given his statements and known associations, I believe Mr. Norquist has become a confusing distraction to the NRA’s mission. Further, an independent investigation as some have proposed, and the continued in-fighting, is a waste of the NRA’s resources.
Perhaps most worrisome, I am aware of NRA members who are considering leaving the NRA because they have done some serious homework in regard to Mr. Norquist. Among other sources, they have discovered this highly professional and summarizing link in their research. You are encouraged to read it for yourself.
The NRA has wisely provided for its members to petition for the recall of Board Members. This website is to inform you of such a petition. If you agree, please download the form here nd help us have Mr. Norquist recalled from the NRA Board.
For a successful recall, a few things need to happen:
1. We need 450 Life members (or if you are not a Life member but have been a member in good standing for 5 consecutive years, you are eligible) to sign this petition.
2. Of the 450 petitioners, we need at least 100 members from 3 different states.
3. The petitions must be filled out correctly and fully (please call the NRA at 800-672-3888 and make sure that all the information they have is accurate and identical to what you are putting on the form).
4. Mail it in ASAP—the NRA must have the forms by September 14th, 2015.
5. Please tell your friends to do the same.
Assuming we successfully deliver 450 qualified petitions, the NRA board will set-up a special committee to review the petition. This Special Committee will then make a recommendation to the membership to be published in the NRA Magazine issue that has ballots for the following term. There are many qualified citizens and NRA members who can serve well on the Board. We do not have to accept Mr. Norquist. I hope you will join us in this effort. One more word... the point of this petition is simply to give the NRA membership an opportunity to be heard. There is no desire for any media attention whatsoever.

Re: Attempt to recall/remove Grover Norquist from NRA Board
For anyone unaware, Norquist allegedly has Islamic ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and has bad intentions for the NRA, yet funded his re-election successfully. He perviously stepped down from the NRA position and then got re-elected. (HOW?!??)

If anyone meets the qualifications to vote, I'd recommend doing it. You need to be a Life member for at least 5 years and you must MAIL a paper copy in....quickly (3 weeks until deadline)!

We should be able to meet those requirements from this forum alone.
