Default PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE STOP DOING THAT !!!

Please stop referring to a rifle as a "TACK DRIVER".

It's a really stupid way to describe a rifle.

You and I and most everyone that has any experience in rifles knows that
even some really good bench rest rifles would have a hard time "DRIVING A TACK".

A tack is about 1/4moa at best .

Can't you just say that the rifle is "Very Accurate"?

Personally if I ever want to buy a rifle thats advertised as "A TACK DRIVER", I'm going to want the seller to prove it before I give up my cash.

    I'll supply the tack.

OK, how about if I call it a "needle threader"?

It's far better than "camel humper".

How about you supply the tack. I shoot it at 100 yards and then you give me your rifle. I own a real tack driver.

I only have one rifle that I consider a tack driver, the others just shoot good.
