Any Daiseytown members?
I have been a member of Daiseytown for several years, but this year I have been shooting in the indoor .22 rifle league and the Thursday .22 pistol league. I also have plans to go to the upcoming Tuesday night trap shoots. Do any of you shoot at those events? It would be nice to put a face with a name.
These are the times that try men's souls: The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Thomas Paine 1776

I am also a member at daisytown. Been a member for the past few years. Last time I was there (about 2 weeks ago) they were putting in a new pistol range that will have steel targets! I really cant wait for that!

Re: Any Daiseytown members?
They hold a meeting, the third monday of every month (I believe it is at 7:00pm) which was just last monday. you can attend the meeting and let the officers that are there know that you would like to join. it is a $35 annual fee and they ask that you are a member of the NRA, but do not ask you to provide proof usually. It may take a week after that until your gate key card will be activated. If you would like to contact them, they have a website and here is the site with contact info:
http://www.daisytownsportsmens.com/contact
Hope this helps!

The new pistol ranges are up and running. metal targets are on the ranges and more metal is being added each month. all you need is a can of spray paint for the targets. many more thing to come in the future
