Default Gun briefing backfires in China

Well you know, you really might want to check those confiscated weapons before you go showing them off:

So what's more dangerous, the gun or the cops.

A few weeks ago, a local police officer was admitted to the emergency room for putting a round thru his hand "while cleaning his gun." That's the official story anyway. He was on duty at the station.

My guess would be he had a Glock and didn't empty OR CHECK the chamber before pulling the trigger to disassemble. I always thought that was a design flaw.

Careful, you'll have the glock mafia all over you for trying to say they aren't perfect.

Thanks for the concern. I think I'll be ok since the title of the thread is not "Glocks are awesome!"

pull the trigger to disassemble... wow... glocks are real safe

that's why i'm glad I carry a smith and wesson m&p 40 ... and so do my township cops... as the glock people say "oh no you didn't"
my goal: to get every good person in the philly region responsibly armed.

ummm...ya gotta pull the trigger to dry-fire as well...no matter what gun you have.

dry-fire for practice....dry-fire to field strip...what's the difference?

anyone who discharges a round while dry-firing a glock to field strip it can place the blame squarely on themselves...not the glock.

It's entirely possible scenarios like this are prepared by government or anti-gun associations. They can point to how dangerous firearms are, that trained police can't even handle them without fear for their lives, blah blah.

Yeah, I could see the chief recruiting for that one..., "Hey, Joe, we uh, we want you to shoot yourself in the hand. Can you do that for us, you know, take one for the team? Thanks, you're a real pal. Sarah Brady thanks you."

Thank you for presenting the least probable but not impossible scenario. Quietly continue to consider the other more likely scenarios. Thank you.

The probability of dynamiting a stack of logs and winding up with a shack isn't zero...

I like a good conspiracy theory as well as the next guy. What are some of your more likely scenarios?
