    By the Times Staff 07/17/2008

RADNOR - A camp counselor was wounded in a gun mishap at Valley Forge Military academy this morning, authorities said.

The 18-year-old male counselor apparently was putting away weapons in a building near the shooting range on the Wayne campus when one of the guns discharged.

The counselor was wounded and was taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland. The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Further details were not immediately available.

Wow, what the heck is going on with the firearms handlers? Do they not check the weapons to make sure they are unloaded ... sad to see, especially after the death at Sunset Hill a while ago ... you would think better safety precautions would be followed.

They have an indoor range where they only allow .22's if I recall.
