Carded for ammo
Just got back from Sportsmens Warehouse where I picked up 500 rounds of Ultramax .223 55gr FMJ. I can't believe I got carded! He said that you have to be over 18 to buy rifle/shotgun ammo and 21 to buy pistol ammo. When I asked him why his store had this policy he said it was the law (I call BS on that one). What's the deal?

Get to my age (60's) and carding is a thing of the past!
However - a large load of ammo could well mean - ''can ya help me carry this to the truck''Chris - P95

Re: Carded for ammo
Damn older people. I feel bad for anyone over the age of 30.
I remember in high school, before I turned 18, I would go to Wal-Mart or to the Tacklebox. I would buy .22 LR and they would ask if it was pistol or rifle. I would tell them rifle, they would be ok...have a nice day.
Same thing with 12 Ga shotgun shells. I was never asked for ID. Plus I could go and buy a whole bunch of cans of Blackpowder, and no one asked any questions.

Yeah...and? I am still under 30. You aren't. NANANANANANANA!!!!
I have the mind of a 21 yr old, the knees of a 45 yr old, and the right shoulder of a 68 yr old. My back is probably that of a 32 yr old, oh and the hip of a corpse. And still bet I could throw hay all day long if need be.
