New to area, pistol instruction...

Hello,
New to the pittsburgh area (NY transplant) and I am interested in getting started with shooting. I have fired weapons in the past but I have not had any training or instruction with pistols. Can any one recommend an indoor range in the penn hills area where I could find some basic safety and shooting lessons as well as rental guns?

There's only a couple places in Pittsburgh that rent guns and have an indoor facility.

Be sure to come to a group shoot at PMSC. There are lots of folks that can give you pointers and also tons of guns to "Test Drive!"

Also, Pitcairn Monroeville Sportsmen's Club offers both NRA first steps and Basic Pistol classes. The basic class is scheduled for Feb 19, and the first steps class is usually the second Tuesday. If neither of these are good for you, I am available for either class at other times.
