Bipod for my Mosin?

Im looking for a Bipod for my mosin, any suggestions?

I was thinking about this too. All the bipods I have seen for a Mosin was a barrel clamp on, but that affects accuracy. I also dont want to use a screw on mount because it will ruin the stock and you cant have the cleaning rod attached so I came up with this idea:

2 small hose clamps from a hardware store

a piece of leather to protect the stock from scratches.

It is the one sold at the GS, green packaging......

I bought the Bi-pod, scout scope mount, and scope as a package....

I'll try to get a pic next week....

It clamps on the barrel, and does not affect the accuracy.

I think the cheap surplus ammo we shoot through Mosin's effect the accuracy much more than a bi pod off a bench...

Yep, my thoughts, also.....

I was shooting 4"+ groups with Bulgarian Surp ammo, then I got some 150gr BT Privi and now I'm shooting 1"-2" barely trying. The recoil is much more with the Privi but the brass shows no sings of high pressure.
