First OC
Not mine, but my wife.
She had stopped at the junkyard last week to pick up a cargo cover for her car. A woman wondering a junkyard alone is kinda a scary thought.
I didn't know she went until after the fact, and before I could ask, she told me she carried OC.
At one point she was in a remote area when a couple guys started following and comming in her direction. They got closer, must've caught a glimpse, and dispursed.
On her way out there were another two guys standing in her path. As she got closer they looked at her hip and parted like the red sea.
She said she felt a lot safer. It was fascinating hearing her tell the story.

Re: First OC
Agreed. The guys that were coming towards her then dispersed was at the most remote point in the yard. Alone she could have easily been overpowered and forced into a car where no one would see or hear her. I thought perhaps they were just being friendly and helpful. My wife is hot
and often gets guys offering to help her do the stupidist things. But given that they changed directions and went away makes me question their motives.
She had her 2nd OC today. In our house lol. Had someone from craigslist come to buy something. I don't like having strangers come by when she's home alone. But she said there were no problems. And they didn't comment on her gun.
The day she got her LTCF, she CC'd in her purse to the dollar store. The owners saw it when her purse was open and it led to a nice conversation on carrying and self defense.Last edited by tlgpa; May 27th, 2009 at 02:46 PM.

Re: First OC
Mybe she was selling him, for another gun you never know.
Glad to hear your wife had a good experiance and nothing went south on her, and as you said they dispersed so there intention might not have been on the up and up. isnt it funny how people become the nicest folks in the world and so friendly when they know they cant take advantage of you.
