Taurus - PT92 Fixed
I have a friend that is looking to sell his Taurus PT92 Fixed, that he bought about 10 years ago and has never been fired. Does anybody have one or know anything about it. (problems, likes, dislikes, etc.) When I go to the Taurus website it is no longer in stock and has been discontinued.
Thanks in advanceTET 68 Survivor --- U. S. Navy 1963 - 1972

Re: Taurus - PT92 Fixed
I have fired one and I could not tell the difference between the Beretta I also shot. This particular one had no issues but Taurus does offer a lifetime warranty so you should be covered if any problems arise. I don't know if the parts are interchangable which would limit the ability to find what you need but again if you can deal with the hassle you have a lifetime warranty
I would say do it depending on the price it is offered to you at.

IMO it is the strongest gun Taurus has ever offered. I had a 99 which is the same pistol with adjustable sights. I only sold it because I was desperate for cash. I got 350 for it which is what I paid for it used about 4 years ago. Never had any problems with it what so ever.

Outstanding guns. I had several. All offered flawless reliability, and decent accuracy.

Re: Taurus - PT92 Fixed
The Tauri 92 is a sleeper , excellent gun my cousin bought one about 10 years ago as protection for his auto-body business, he got the bright stainless with the wood grips, nice gun.
BTW Taurus still sell these guns, thats saying something.
Some people like the Taurus 92 over the Bereta 92 because the safety on the Taurus is easier to use.
If the price is good get it.
