Penn State Insults Veterans

Folks, first let me apologize if this has already been posted here. I did a search and did not see an existing thread on this topic.

Words can not adequately express my thoughts right now. As a veteran - no wait, as a human being - this make me want to puke.

How do you know that there wasn't also a video like that?

Here's what I know about this video. There was a related video on YouTube that showed the video playing on what appeared to be a Penn State website. It appeared to be some sort of shell for playing other videos, as well... in other words, while there's evidence that this was legitimately available for viewing on a Penn State website, it was part of some series and for some purpose that we don't know. It is out of context.

What I don't know is:
-if Penn State authored the video. Judging by the fact that Penn State was mentioned nowhere in the video itself, I doubt that they played a hand in producing it.
-if Penn State was unique in using the video. Since it seems to be a generic training video, there very well may be other schools still using it.
-if Penn State knew that such a video was going to be made available on its website. If it was a generic video, it very well could have been hosted off of a training website, and no one has bothered to look at all the contents of all the video on the training website.
-how long the video was on the website and how long Penn State knew about it. Had it been used for months before Penn State finally took it down due to public opinion? Or had it only been on their site for a few days before it was brought to their attention and promptly taken down?
-who had access to the part of the website that showed the video, and how many people reviewed the content before it was added. Was this approved by several high-ranking administrators? Or was this the domain of a sole instructor?
-what action was taken by Penn State. We don't know if anyone was held responsible and/or disciplined because of it.
-in what context the video was shown. Could there have also been a video about a gay student who tried to intimidate an instructor for better grades? Could there have been one about a Muslim student who did the same thing?

In general I'm having a hard time finding any information at all about the video, short of commentary high on emotion and low on facts.

We could have a situation analogous to someone signing up here on PAFOA and making a thread of kiddie porn. Of course it would be promptly deleted by a mod and reported to the police, but someone could post a screenshot and show it around the anti-gun rings as evidence that PAFOA supports kiddie porn.

If we can find some information that definitetively suggests Penn State willingly and knowingly put this video out for viewing, I'll be the first one in the lynch mob. But right now I can't find enough information to even begin to prove that.

Out of curiosity, have you contacted the University to see what the deal with the video is? It would seem prudent to do so before accusing them of slighting Vets. While it's possible, I highly doubt it's the case.

That video is weird, and just sort of ends on an odd note ("I'll have you fired." The End). I have the feeling we are seeing just a piece of the original video, and it is out-of-context. Have to withhold judgment on this one.
