    Default My Big Bore Pistol

Here is my big bore pistol I just finished making. 62 caliber smoothbore pistol. That will put a big hole in what ever you shoot.

The closest thing to a polymer on her is the ramrod tip, it's made of horn
    (18th century plastic)

Woah! Very nice. Didn't expect to see that as the pistol, but very nice. Was it a kit gun? How long did it take to build?

I built her from scratch. THe barrel came from Getz in Beavertown Pa the lock and brass came from Track of the Wolf and the stock was a piece of walnut I had left over from another project.

Well I recomend trying it. I've been building and shooting them for over 30 years. I made my first one from a kit when I was 12. Still shoot it today.
