    Talking remington 770 in .270

is $3.00 too much to pay???

just got back from test firing, the "factory bore site" was off by about 3' at 100 yd. once i got it in i was making 3 shot groups you could cover w/ a nickel.

oh yeah, the $3.00 thing, i won it on a raffle to benefit the local fire co.

the bolt was VERRRRRRY hard to open when cocking the striker at first. after i cycled it about 50x it smoothed out.

and i have seen much worse scopes perform at the levels of the top of the line scopes. a pos simmions that came on a rifle i bought used comes to mind, wanted to throw it out, but it drove tacks on the rifle and just seemed indestructable.
