Default Need a good IWB holster in the worst way

OK, after trying to comfortably carry everything I own (Glock, Sig, Springfield), I am back to the G23 for everyday carry. The problem is that every IWB holster that I find, isn't great. I haven't done the Kydex thing yet, other than my serpa, they seem like they would be uncomfortable IWB. Can someone please recommend a holster for me to carry my baby comfortably, or else I am going to make Phily have to get used to OC alot faster than they may want to. (Don't tell Pa. Patriot)

I like the original Sidearmor for this gun -- quick to take on or off.

The kydex material is less comfortable, but the holster takes up less room, so you gain comfort from that source.

I like the Milt Sparks VMII for larger guns -- I have a feeling it might be too much holster for a mid-sized gun.

...which I bought for my G17 but haven't tried yet.

ETA: if you want to meet at SPAG one day, you can try out my Sidearmor. At least you can test one option before buying.

I haven't found any IWB holster that I've tried comfortable. I've given up. OTOH, most people who own the milt sparks executive companion have all indicated it is extremely comfortable.

    Haha!

When I'm unable to OC I also use the Milt Sparks VMII

Been using one for 7 years now G23 and 1911 commander sizes.

I tried dozens of iwb holsters before I tried the VMII and have not tried another since.

I can easily conceal, and do regularly, a G23 in shorts and a t-shirt. I'm "average" size.

I have three Fist J hook kydex holsters 2 for my 1911s and 1 for my Kel Tec and they work very well.

I have a Kahr CW9. Most of the time I pocket carry. At the group shoots though I've used my Blade-Tech IWB holster. It's a comfortable holster and they are tailor made for each gun. Most are also IDPA approved. I've read good reviews on these as well. They are designed to allow you to tuck your shirt in over the weapon. If I lost some weight I'd use it all the time, but for now pocket carry is most comfy for me.

I'm with dgg9 on the Sidearmor. I checked his holster out at the eastern group shoot at Wicen's range and decided to buy one for my G29.

My only complaint about it is it rides a little higher than my old leather IWB, but it's just as comfortable.

If you have to have leather, I'd suggest a Ted Block model ST17. They come with and without a retention strap. The thing I like about this holster is it has a really wide and very strong metal belt clip that keeps the holster in place.

I ordered my Sidearmor IWB directly from Sidearmor. You can find a Ted Blocker ST17 at http://www.holster-connection.com/

I went to wearing lightweight sports coats to cover full sized handguns. I reckon a photographer's vest would work too.
My favorite is a leather sportsjacket from Cabela's, but that's a fall-winter-spring weight.
So, you might want to look into other alternatives.

IWB...just not for me! I never found one comfortable and I hated reholstering in an IWB holster.

For IWB I have Milt Sparks VMII's for my P239 and my P220R Carry. I often see the VMII on ebay for various Glocks. In the past I used a Mitch Rosen for my XD9 SC. What ever you go with it is leather make sure it is reinforced for one handed reholstering
