Couldn't post in the general section

Tried to post for a possible dinner, and kept getting error messages. Is that section up and running?

Ahh, very good. I was wondering why it wasn't showing up, then I got a "invalid title" message, I didn't know what was going on.

Yes, it is. All threads in the Events forum are moderated. I can see all three of the threads you "tried" to post. Expect one to be visible shortly.

Since your post is more of an inquiry about interest, rather than an actual event that will be held, I'm moving it to the "General" (Discussion) forum, instead of the General (Events) forum. When you have firm plans for a place, date and time, feel free to post it in the Events forum, so it will appear on the calendar. Keep in mind that this post will need to be moderated, and until that happens, it will remain invisible, even to you.

This is a bug in the plugin we use to handle the link between discussion threads and the calendar that as far as I know is still unresolved by the author. It creates a database error when submitting new events, but they do make it into the system.

Nothing I can do until the plugin author updates it (except removing the plugin entirely)
