Ordered my new gun tonight

I ordered my new FN compact 9mm pistol tonight. It's the FNP-9M DA/SA. http://www.fnhusa.com/products/firea...01&mid=FNM0053

Today at work I called a dealer I found online and inquired if he had any of them (another dealer I spoke with had none and couldn't get any from his distributors). He said that he had several in his warehouse.

So, my search was on for a local dealer to do the FFL transfer. I found a very nice guy locally who said he would do the transfer. He even said he would take care of ordering it from them. He is faxing the order and his FFL over in the morning. I did call the other dealer to give them a heads-up that he will be faxing the order and to get an exact amount. I will make payment to the other dealer and will will ship it to my local guy where I will do the paperwork and pick it up. I hope to have it by the weekend or early next week.

Congrats!! Nice little pistol. Now for one very important thing...........Dont' forget to post a range report.

I was so excited to try out this new ammo for my pistol that I went to the range in yesterday's snow storm!

Congrats on ordering your new FNP 9M, I know you will love it. I've had my FNP 40 for about 6 months or so and really love it.

I'm chomping at the bit to get my new gun. I called the dealer in Pottstown (Sniper Country PX) yesterday to find out if they had shipped it to my FFL in Mechanicsburg. They hadn't because the Pottstown dealer's father died last week. He was shipping it out by Priority Mail yesterday. My FFL should have it today or tomorrow. Then, I just need to go over, fill out the paperwork and take her home.
