Bambi and the Hummers
Saw the first fawn of the season today....probably a day or so old...could barely walk....and the humming birds arrived a couple of days ago.... there's a half dozen or so baby rabbits hiding under the lilacs and the first tiny hatchlings of various species are chirping away, demanding to be fed...
Sometimes you really do have to stop and smell the roses....it puts everything into perspective.

I was back-packing and camping in Jefferson County for about two weeks. On my way out , a large doe ran in front of me and stopped about 30 feet
from me . When I looked to the left , about 20 feet , I saw a little bambi.
It must have just been born , it couldn't even stand . So very cool and it really does put things into perspective .I really love the out door stuff !

I wonder how many Hummingbirds it would take to fill up the rotisserie squeres.<<< Cant spell it and spel cheque aint helping...Sorry. We had one at our feeders last sunday, zippy lil buggers.
