    Default Taurus 24/7 Trigger

Last week I was "playing" with a Taurus 24/7 at the gun shop and I was curious about the trigger. Is it really single action for carry? I mean, assume I load a round in the chamber, the trigger is cocked but there is no safety or decocker...am I overlooking something? It doesn't seem like the best way to carry a gun.

It is a single action trigger and there is no decocker. My pt145 has a manual safety and to my knowledge the 24/7 also has one. But carrying without the safety would not be smart in my opinion

Hmmm...maybe I missed the safety. I thought it would be kind of stupid to not have a safety.

It's my old age getting to me!
