Two fun shows this weekend- which is best?
Reading Expo Center (MAAC) and Philadelphia Armory (AP) shows are this weekend. Each is a 90 minute drive (Reading is closer to Cabela's!).
What is the better show? Who's going to what show? Anybody doing two in one day?Last edited by 45Badger; November 4th, 2008 at 08:31 AM. Reason: spellinggggggggggg

I'll be going to the one at the Reading Expo center. I haven't been to the one in Philadelphia yet, so I can't compare the two.

I've been to the last 4 or 5 shows at the Philly Armory they are usually pretty good but that last one there was some empty tables.

I'll go to the Reading show this weekend but if it is as weak as the past few shows there have been it will be my last.

Re: Two fun shows this weekend- which is best?
I'll be going to the reading show, no money to buy anything though, but i'm taking a friend up so he can fondle some handguns to see what he likes for his eventual purchase. I don't expect much from the show at this point, only the 4th or 5th one so its not an "established" show yet. I'll go more for adding to the count of attendees to help draw more dealers to future shows.
Please help my Baby Kitties and I avoid being homeless.

Re: Two fun shows this weekend- which is best?
anyone want to lend me a hand on possible purchasing an ar15?
i'm still new to this. I have fired one before and somewhat familiar with ar15. had a friend that let me shoot his.
i'm asking is that i have never been to an gun show and not sure what to expect. have bought couple of pistols from gun shop.
just looking for someone with more experience with ar15 to help out. since not sure if it'll be better to buy parts and build it myself or buy one thats already build/complete.
btw i'm talking about going to the reading expo.
thanks
mike
