Default What is the deal with "Sig" lines...

that contains every firearm the person owns? I've seen many people do it on various forums. I personally find it silly to list your entire inventory. I guess some people have more time on their hands. Or they want to show off to their internet buddies. I don't want anyone (gobermint) to see the list of items that I own. I just don't see the purpose or logic behind this trend. That being said, to each his/her own.

ETA: I will probably pee my pants from laughing, if Grizz ever listed his entire collection on his "sig" line. LOL

if i listed all mine, my sig line would be longer than excel-to-excels average message

I dunno why folks do it, I think its kinda silly actually, but thats just me. (and you)

I just have some of mine, and it did in fact help me in the trade that I embarked in with Romeo Oscar Bravo...

He saw one of my guns listed there, asked about it, expressed interest and the deal was done.

If not for that sig. line I'd probably not have my SOCOM II right now.

Personally I think going all out with the whole collection would be a little stupid. But I kind of like it when reading someones post, If I want to talk to somebody about a gun and it happens to be listed in thier signiture, it's that much easier to find someone who actually owns the gun in question and can give me honest feedback rather than hearsay.

I wouldn't want all of mine listed, either. Then again, if I DID list them, I'd have to keep updating the list at LEAST every couple of months!

See this is where some of us differ in opinion..
But as I see this will hijack yet an other thread I will make a new thread for it… Let’s say Here!

As for Grizz making a sig line with all his guns... He would be better off giving a URL with the guns on it... Or the first thread he posts would take too many pages.

REALLY like the new sig. For some reason I find it to be fairly familiar.
