I got to this point a few months back. I still read the news, but I really wish I could just take the red pill and slip back into the matrix.

I'm with you! Sometimes it is soo very hard to keep your sanity - being a political junkie & paying attention to all of the crap that is going on. My problem is that I cant turn it off & go watch the mindless crap on VH1.

Sometmes I think the uninformed, ignorant masses are better off then me!
If you're not outraged & disgusted, you are simply not paying atttention

    Tell me about it..

Usually I can handle it.. However there are time I just unplug from it for a few days and take a breather...

I just keep chanting "We survived WW2 etc etc we can survive this too"

It works.. for a day or so... But it's such a nice day..

It's called SUPER STRENGTH duct tape

Seriously I literally 'glance' at the news lately and more times than not the headline alone tells me I REALLY don't want to read it.

My 'morning read' has gone from 2 hours just a year ago to a 5 minute glance and then I bury myself in work, seems to help.

But DAYUM Iron Man 2 looks INCREDIBLE, can't wait for that one.
