i have been out a while and have not been keeping up with the forum. i was just at kings in KOP and they have complete m4's for under $900. i jumped on here and notice everyone has been lowering prices as well. this is good news, i feel bad for ya if you got hosed a few months ago, i was trying to tell guys to wait but everyone hit the panic button.

It is easy to see who got hosed if you look at the marketplace section of the forum.

Good indicators:

1. FS thread is bumped to page 2 and beyond
2. Repeated use of the phrases, "Last bump before...", "will not go lower", "no lowballing", etc.
3. Gun is still new in the case and is MSRP or over

I waited. I sold mine when I moved up here. I plan on building one to give me something to do. I wanna build one in .308.

I unfortunately got stuck buying about 500 rounds of panic priced ammo because I just didn't have any 9mm. So a lot of time went in driving to different gun shops and online shopping so I'm stocked now. Now I just go around replenishing what I shoot over the weekends when I go to the range. I got a few places I hit because of being friendly with the staff, they call me when they get it and put ammo back for me when I need it.

My local Walmart has been getting the Colts and Sig M400 in. The only tend to last a few days but I could have bought 5-6 Colts in the last month or two. (Meaning they were there on the rack, not that I had the money to buy that many)

Still no sign of ammo(pistol, 5.56, .308) at my Walmart, I think it's due to the people with connections. I can't say for sure but there always seems to be a crowd just as they are putting it in the case. Plenty of .30-30, .270, and some other .3 calibers.
