Cant find a Gun club to shoot steel.
After just being fined big time for shooting steel plates at a game lands range, as well as plenty of other insane fines, Ive been looking for a gun club.
In my research I can not find one close to my home in the Poconos, that accepts new members and allows steel shooting out doors. I just need a place to sit back with my girlfriend and plink 22s at steel plates or other reactive targets.
Anyone know of any gun clubs in the Poconos where this is allowed?
Thanks!

I'm paying attention. This is relevant to me. I am moving just south of Honesdale.
Something clever belongs here. Same screen name at ARFCOM.

It's been a while since I have been there, but Mainville Sportsman Club has a great range for reasonable membership. They are just south of Bloomsburg. They have excellent competitions about 1-2x a month open to members.

This is where I shoot. They have steel targets on the rifle range (100 & 150 yds). I don't believe you can bring your own steel or anything besides paper targets.
From the website:
BRCV Club approved Steel Targets, Clay targets and Paper targets.
Paper targets are to be stapled to cardboard backings, fastened to club-provided target stands.
Hit the berm/backstop: Position your targets such that bullets passing through them will impact only the backstop.
Note! – Club approved steel targets are provided on the Rifle Range at 100 yard and 150 yards.
Minimum shooting distance is not to be less than 100 yards for Center Fire Rifles.
Not Permitted:
Metal targets, cans, bottles, any ground targets or exploding targets. Barrels and/or frame support posts are not approved target stands.
