Yamaha FZ750....

Ok, my brother asked me today if I wanted to sell this....I had found (and bought) a BMW 325es as a project car for him (and he fixed it, drove it for about 2 years then sold it). I also found this FZ750 as a project. He has it running in good shape...I'll give limited details now and expand as he gets me more info (I don't know motorcycles).

I believe it is an early ('85 or '86) FZ750. New Tires and Exhaust. Some plastic fairing breakage, but my brother repaired and touched up the area and the tank (he says to look really nice it would probably need a better paint job).

He tells me it runs great. He has the title in his name. He'd keep it, but he got a new job in Harrisburg (he lives in Lock Haven) and can't keep all the vehicles (his replacement for the BMW was a Jeep...he's got it mostly together, needing a bit of body work in the garage), and the motorcycle.

I'll set a price, or even consider trades for firearms in the next day or two (when he gives me the age and mileage on the cycle and gets some pics). However, I figured I'd put it up here to see what kind of interest there might be.

The bike is in the Lock Haven area (State College). He'll be home most later evenings and weekends until he actually moves next month to Harrisburg.

It is an '86 (mileage coming) and inspected to April or May of next year.

I did some pricing research for him and they seem to run $500 (for a bike that needs a good deal of work to get on the road) to $1500 for one in great shape.

This one has new tires, new Vance and Hines pipes, and is in good overall cosmetic shape. Current PA inspection.

I'm going to get him to send me some pics this weekend and also to get the mileage.

Sounds like he could go for $800 on it (priced fairly low for a bike in the condition). I told him to take trades on something like a Benelli M1 or M3 tactical shotgun, an AR, or other firearms like that....mostly because I'll buy them from him if he doesn't like them.

Possible Trades:
M1 or M3 Super 90 Shotguns.
Beretta 1201 FP Shotgun.
SIG-Sauer (or SIG or SIG Arms) pistols.
.357 J Frame.
.44 mag N Frame.
Bolt gun in .308.
Beretta shotguns of many flavors.
ARs, AKs or FALs.

Since this is a spare vehicle, he'd be a bit more negotiable.
