Lets just see which way people go. Please explain your choice, Is it because you have never heard of HS2000, or you think the XD is a better gun?

I think the HS2000 is the original XD9, before Springfield Armory started importing the gun. I picked the XD, because SA did make some changes to the gun. At least I think they did.

your correct, but the only changes springfield made are the following, 1. added a light rail to the bottem of the pistol, and 2. started putting the springfield name on the slide. To me, these are not worth $100. This was to see a point. Its all about adverstiment

They are almost the same gun but now they have a better service department as well as better customer service and although they didnt make tomany changes the triggers are better now and with the new XDm they have made some grip angle changes albeit very slight.
Still made in Croatia, but then again that is not a deterent, for me and many millions of others.
