Treasury secretary Paulison today says the will not use money from the big bailout to buy up toxic loans, they will just keep buying stock in the financial companies to 'prop them up'

Are we fucking serious? They are using your and my money to buy stocks in companies that don't deserve to live?

Actually this is more like a kleptocracy. Divvy out the citizen's money to your old friends. At least when a proper socialist government bails out banks(Sweden), they mandate that the taxpayers be paid back once the banks are back in black.
