If you are walking down the street and two guys started attacking you, one from the left and one from the front, do you have to run to the right or backwards, because there are no attackers in those directions? In PA, if being attacked, you don't need to retreat.

I would have stopped and threw it in reverse and hauled out of there.

But you also have to deal with other traffic around you. If, while trying to escape from these turds, you hit someone else, you're liable for their damage. Mean while if they damage your car, they aren't liable because htey will just ride off. Best course of action is run 'em over or shoot them as they attack you.
