Does anyone know if concealed carry is permitted at the Pittsburgh convention center?

It'd be a real pain to go back to my car to lock my pistol up if they have metal detectors.

I doubt that they allow weapons of any kind. I know there are a bunch of threads here discussing this and I've even posted in them before but I can't recall the official answer.

There are no metal detectors though. I've been to a few shows in the last 6-8 months and there were none.

...the NRA Convention was held there. Lots of people carried there, both openly and concealed.

It's better to ask for forgiveness than to beg for permission. Don't go calling them, and putting it on their radar.

I'm for sure not planning to call them and thought the same. Surprised this is so hard to find.
