Has anybody seen this? The hijack episode is on. Pretty good IMO. http://www.spike.com/show/33200

Yeah, I saw it. It was pretty good... though it is a little cheesy, like a lot of those types of shows on Spike... that being said, I do have the series tivo'd

I was thinking along the same lines when I saw the preview for that one. If a gun is available in the house, it's gonna be a short episode.

saw the first episode, it was neat. The airplane scenario was kind of a stretch, because theyre relying on too many things happening exactly as they did on the show.

The show was better than I thought it was going to be. Cheesy, yes, but there were a couple things mentioned that I hadn't thought of before. Based on what I saw from the first episode, I will watch more.

I saw the first few min.

I saw them extolling the greatness of the TSA......

Had to go to something else, after that......

They were accurate in that you probably won't see anyone getting a gun on board, so an improvised weapon would be more likely.

It did raise a discussion between me and my wife about 9/11.

Obviously I wasn't there, but I just don't get it. If all they had were box cutters, why didn't anyone try to over power them? I think I'd be willing to take a few cuts from a 1.5" blade to stop the threat of crashing. I mean there are only like 5 places on your body that a cut from that small of a blade would be instantly fatal, right? When you compile that with the fact that you could extend your reach using one of those small rolling carry-on bags, I'd think a box cutter would be no match.

Not trying to hi-jack (ha ha) the thread, but it did spark a discussion.
