CZ82...
I am looking at purchasing a CZ82. I found them online for around $200. Do most gun shows sell the CZ82? If they do, do they sell for around $200 or are they more or less? Thanks guys

Re: CZ82...
The excellent condition ones run around $200, the good around $170. CDNN have them at the moment but although they are C&R, CDNN will only sell to an 01FFL. Try the next gun show and you will usually find them, or if you have a C&R (and why don't you?) then AIM surplus and SOG have them. Dave_n

Re: CZ82...
I think you are better off hitting the gun shows if you are not in a hurry. Shipping costs can add another $30-50 depending where it's shipped from. There were a few dealers who had them at the York and Harrisburg shows for about $200-220. Thats not too bad plus you get to handpick your own. There were even a couple of beat up ones for under $170. The CZ82's are great handguns. I just shot mine today.

Re: CZ82...
AIM has them for $200 AND they come with two mags, not one as with some sellers. They were going for $150 a while back but the supply is drying up. I have purchased from AIM before and felt they were more professional and had better customer service than some other online C&R/surplus type dealers I've dealt with, J&G Sales and Centerfire Systems.
Even at $200 those guns are a steal. They have chrome lined polygonal rifled barrels etc and are basically over engineered and almost too well made for a blowback pistol chambered in 9X18 Makarov. I cannot think of a better gun for under $400. Can't wait to get my tax return and pick one up without feeling guilty about breaking my budget.

Re: CZ82...
The Fobus Makarov1 holster is a good fit for the CZ82. This isn't an open invite to bitch about Fobus, just sayin' it will fit.

Re: CZ82...
When I ordered mine from SouternOhioGun I didn't know anything about the gun. I figured that for the $149 they were asking, I couldn't go wrong. I was not impressed at first due to the chipped paint but once I removed the paint and added the custom grips, I found a new favorite and a perfect carry gun.

Re: CZ82...
Pector, details please. How did you remove the paint? What did you refinish with? Where did you get different grips? Enquiring minds want to know!
