Ed's gun shop in Tamaqua!
I was just in there again the other day, Great to do business with. I have purchased 6 guns from there in the last 2 yrs. Ed, Brett, Kyle and Mike are great. I almost forgot Ed's wife Vicky, she is the person if you are looking for any type of gun magazines. Very knowledgeable people and very helpful. Check them out!

Yea I usually go to ed's to get my ammo, but I find his prices on handguns to be about 30-60 higher then the other shop I like to go too. Very nice shop and enjoyable to speak with.

Just curious, what other shops do you go to. Always looking for new shops.

Richland Shooters Supplies is where I have bought my 2 handguns. Always have been the cheapest and very nice to deal with.

You can actually look at new gun prices from there website. But I have found that they are usually a few dollars cheaper then listed on the site. I just picked up my Ruger LCP on friday and it is listed as $252.99 on the website, but was actually $249.95 at the store.

Great place I bought an AK there. I wish I had bought the .223 ammo they had... it was a really good price.

Re: Ed's gun shop in Tamaqua!
Just had a very good experience with Ed's. Bought a magazine off them this weekend at the Reading gun show. Apparantly the magazine was mispackaged (was a 10rnd when I thought it was 15). Called today, expecting to get the "your fault for not checking it at the show" line. Spoke with Vicki, who apologised for the mix-up, said she had a 15rnd, and will exchange through the mail, plus cover shipping. This is for a $20 used mag, mind you.
Theyre out of my neck of the woods, but when I get treated that good for something so small, I might have to keep them in mind next time Im toy-hunting.

Just went to Ed's today after work and picked up 400 rounds of .45 CCI Blazer. Still only $11.95/bx. He said they don't have many left and the next ones are going up in price. Always nice to talk to and ammo prices are the best I have seen in the area.

I have never had a bad experience at Ed's. The entire staff is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I will not do business with anyone else after my experiences at Ed's.
