Glad to be living in PA!

I just had lunch with some friends from Wheaton, Illinois which is forty min. from down town Chicago. Their daughter is considering Grove City College for the fall 2010. Anyway my friend, starts asking me about Pa gun laws and starts to share some info about the gun laws around Chicago. No guns in Chicago (except in criminal hands) you need special ID card to buy guns or ammo in Illinois and those are just a few. (I'm not a really authority on Illinois gun law just what I picked up at the table) Just a good reminder that we are truly blessed to be living in PA!!!

I had a little culture shock when I moved here from the Peoples Republic of NY. We have it pretty good compare to some other states.
But we should not let down our guard as there are many who would like us to be like the other socialist states.

I have a friend in Illinois who loves hunting, shooting, and the outdoors. She rattled off a sweet list of pistols and rifles that she owns. I asked her where she keeps them, and her answer was....Indiana. She has to drive a few hours to her family's place just to retrieve a firearm because of all the BS laws in Illinois. So much for "shall not be infringed", huh?
