No Apostrophes?
Does anyone else have this strange behavior on this forum? When I copy and paste an article or any text into a post on this forum, all of the apostrophes and quotes get replaced for asterisks. I usually spend (waste) the time editing it so the post is more readable, but I left this one intact to show as an example:

I'm using Chrome usually when this occurs. Anyone know a cause or solution? It seems to be specific to this forum only.Galations 6:9...And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Re: No Apostrophes?
Yeah , I have been seeing the *star-thingy* since the last update. And yes, I know it*s called an asterisk! Figured I*d get that before some ninny corrected me.

Re: No Apostrophes?
The last update left us with that interesting little asterisk Easter egg.
We're working to replace the asterisk with an interrobang: ‽

Re: No Apostrophes?
I've been seeing that also. I thought it was some new internet fad.

Re: No Apostrophes?
If you guys are still troubleshooting this ...
We chased a similar on another forum I visit and it turned out to be some inconsistency in the code page settings between the forum software and the virtual server. One was set to UTF and the other was ISO gibberish. It wasn't the same forum software but just a herring to chase if you're in need of one. Over there the problem was worse for Mac and/or Chrome users ... some unicode/double-byte gibberish. Probably makes sense that it shows in a pasted article that probably used extended apostrophes and quotes. FWIW

Re: No Apostrophes?
We need some coding to replace all Canadian flags posted with USA flags.
