Petition to Support the Navy Seals

I did a search for this and didn't find a thread, so here is what I was sent.

I enjoy all the cute and funny e-mail people send me. I read them, then delete them, (even the ones that promise a blessing or a curse - this does neither...I saw this on the news.....pls read...

I was watching Fox News Saturday, when they interviewed Dan Burton (R - IND.). He started a petition to show support for the 3 Navy Seals facing court martial. If you have any questions, please go to the web sight and check it out, then pls sign it and pass it on.

I really feel we need to support these guys who were doing their job and putting their lives on the line to protect America . I can't believe this is what it has come down to.

"In a heroic action on the night of September 3, Navy SEALS captured one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq, Ahmed Hashim Abed. Abed is believed to be the man behind the barbaric attack in Fallujah in 2004 in which four Blackwater security guards were ambushed, their bodies mutilated, and then hung from a bridge.

Now, because Abed complained that someone smacked him in the face after he was captured (he apparently exhibited a bloody lip), three of the SEALs – Matthew McCabe, Jonathan Keefe and Julio Huertas – are facing a January court martial for prisoner abuse (or making false statements to conceal it.)"
