anyone else having youtube problems?
been having issues with youtube the past few days where videos won't play...it'll act like it's loading then display this error:
error encountered. please try again later.
it happens on most videos...whether IE, Opera or Firefox.
edit-now youtube.com isn't even loading for me.Peace, Prosperity, and Liberty

Re: anyone else having youtube problems?
I have been having the same issues for the the last few days, myself, although it seems sporadic, where some videos will load but others give the same error (which seems like some sort of timeout since it takes forever). I have tried using both my normal Comcast-supplied DNS servers and the OpenDNS servers, both delivering the same results.

Re: anyone else having youtube problems?
Speeds are fine here, as well. (21 Mb/s downstream and 3 Mb/s upstream average according to Speedtest.net.)
Just out of curiosity, have you noticed any timeout issues with Google Maps or any other Google services? I have had Google Maps (as well as services that piggyback on Google Maps, such as Weather Underground’s WunderMap) take forever and timeout, as well.
All that said, right now seems to be good. YouTube and Google Maps are not showing any issues for me.

Re: anyone else having youtube problems?
Im no network genius but it seems odd that a single providor would be having problems.
We are through frontier telephone with DSL and ive been uploading videos to YouTube and watching for hours.
Is it all cleared up nowMillions for defense, Not one cent for tribute!

Re: anyone else having youtube problems?
That is 21.2 Mbit/s downstream and 3.5 Mbit/s upstream. (1 Mbit/s is equal to either 1,000 Kbit/s or 1,024 Kbit/s, depending on whether the context is in decimal or binary.)
Those speeds are about the same as mine.
I figure results like those aren’t bad for their Performance package that lists download speeds up to 12 Mbit/s downstream and 2 Mbit/s upstream with their PowerBoost.
Meanwhile, on the YouTube/Google Maps front, things are still !@#$ed up.
