Picked this up from Cabella's on Sunday for a pretty good price with two barrels. 18.5" home defense barrel and 28" field barrel. It's pretty sick...sends a shiver down my spin when I rack the slide

Nice gun! Thinking about picking one up myself.

If you don't mind, what did it cost you? The only one I found was a Mossberg persuader with an interchangeable pistol grip and stock, with heat sheild, for 370. Seemed high to me.

I bought that same combo (except rifle sights and wood stock) back in the late 80's for $160. It's served me well for home defense and sport. Congrats on the new toy.

Looks like a door breaching barrel, and it is indeed, bad ass. Nice shotty, gonna pick one up for myself soon.

Definitely a worhty buy. I got my 500a for 220 or so, and later got a hd barrel for 70 bucks or so. planning on a possible 8 shot persuader in the near future! love mossberg shotguns.
