Well I'm going to buy a pistol tomorrow...
I put a CZ 2075 RAMI P in 9mm on layaway 2 weeks and I am heading up to the store tomorrow around midday to pay for the rest of it. The CZ 2075 RAMI is a subcompact pistol that comes in 40 S&W or 9MM and is based on the the CZ-75 line. The P designation means that it has a polymer frame with a metal polycoated slide. It comes with two magizines, one is the standard 10 rds and the other holds 14.
I have handled this firearm on several occasions and it feels right. I have never shot one though but have not heard anything wrong with this model pistol aside from feeding problems in the early 40 S&W versions.
Tell me why I should feel good about this decision or why I should run away.

Never heard of them or saw one before now. Interesting looking little critter. Let us know how it shoots.

right now, I don't own a CZ, but I've shot them and know that they are super reliable and are great for accuracy if you can shoot properly.
I'm going to get a CZ-85 next weekend!Peace, Prosperity, and Liberty

Congrats on your purchase!
Please do not commit any forum fouls in the next couple days. Here are a few hints...
1. Do NOT tell us how great it is without posting pictures of YOUR pistol.
2. Do NOT tell us anything at all without a RANGE REPORT!
3. Keep in mind it's your turn to buy the ice cream.~ Luke... Come to the dark side... We have cookies! ~

Well, everyone I know who's had one has gotten rid of them.
Holsters are gonna be tougher, magazines are gonna be tougher...
I don't think there's anything "wrong" with them...but I can't think of any reason to get one, either.

Never held or fired a Rami, but I do love my other CZs. Check with the folks over at czforum.com I'm sure they have many more views on the Rami.

Re: Well I'm going to buy a pistol tomorrow...
Go for it!
I have heard nothing but good things from CZ owners.
Hey, the pistols have been in use by the Czech National Police for years (mainly the CZ 75).
I am not much of a subcompact gun fan (they just don't fit my hand right), and I like the 9mm over the .40 cal.
It certainly is a nice looking gun, and would be perfect for CC (I really like the extended mag).
BTW, if it feels right for you, then it is right.
Congrats on the buy, and let us know how she handles.
This CZ is on my hit list, the new CZ P01 .
