Re: Know Your Rights- Unlawful Search and Seizure!
3 distinct scenarios, can be watched in 3 sittings. the acting was a little goofy at times, but the information is solid. ACLU produced educational video on the 4th, 5th and 6th amendments

Re: Know Your Rights- Unlawful Search and Seizure!
I've seen this video a few times before and it has some great information. I was thinking of it the other day actually and it made me think what if some PAFOA members made a similar video regarding CC/OC encounters?

Re: Know Your Rights- Unlawful Search and Seizure!
I was talking to an alumni of my college today about some recent gun issues on campus and he relayed this information to me which I thought was interesting. According to him, the college in conjunction with the local police do not have an obligation to request to search or obtain a warrant to search school owned residence room...or rather "dorm rooms". Although these rooms are paid for and lived in by individuals the college retains the right to search them at will, and if the police so desire they may ask a representative of the school for permission to search (which is always granted) so that they do not have to obtain consent or a warrant. Apparently this came up a few years ago when a licensed pistol owner was reported to campus authorities and had his door kicked in at 2AM by the local police. Thought it was interesting.

On second thought I, if this is true, I don't see how searching locked or closed containers within the room would be legal at all and if they were searched I would think a judge would agree to surpress any evidence found therein. They couldn't stop you on campus and search your bags, and they can't search your car just because it is parked in their parking lot?

That You Tube member is doing nothing more than trying to hawk DVD and using a free medium such as YouTube to do it.
How many videos do they have that pertain to Second Amendment rights?
Oy!
