Case guage?
I have 2 case guages for 223 and have a problem. One is a Lyman guage and the other a Wilson. About 25% of the cases I test with the Lyman guage are outside the tolerance. With the Wilson they are fine. Is the Lyman guage messed up or do they just have a tighter tolerance? Thanks!

Re: Case guage?
Is the difference on the case head or on neck length side? The neck length is much less important. One reason to use an adjustable guage. Of course I have 45 Wilson gauges, 2 Lymans, and 3 adjustable direct reading units, go figger.

Re: Case guage?
The problem is with the head. Upon further examination with a flashlight I see that there is a small burr at the shoulder area of the Lyman guage that could be causing the problem. Guess I'll just use the Wilson and be done with it... Thanks Steve
