Shipping FFL to FFL?
I've always shipped all firearms I've sold on my own to the buyer's FFL.
I have a guy wanting to buy my SP101, but his FFL will only accept from another FFL. I'm an NJ resident, but I'm assuming that a PA FFL won't have a problem shipping the revolver for me, right? I was planning on using Classic Pistol since I shoot there all the time. Do I need to have it already boxed up or do they handle that? How much does a dealer usually charge to ship it for ya?

Re: Shipping FFL to FFL?
As long as Classic says they will ship it for you no problem. You are handcarrying it to them so no problem there. Really hard to guess on whatthey might want to charge. At the least you will pay for the paperwork they need to do (entries into their bound book, shipping paperwork, etc.), the cost to package it (just bring the gun to them and let them pack it up), and the shipping costs. They may charge anywhere from $20 to $50, I really don't know. Give them a call, they should be able to give you a ball park figure.
