    Default Ammo at Cabela's

Just got back from Cabela's and they had quite a bit of various ammo, 9mm, 40, 44, 45, 223 they were limiting to six boxes on handgun ammo, did not see or hear anything about shotgun or other long gun ammo. The gun dept. was loaded with people waiting on line having to use numbers like in a butcher shop.

I also OC'd there for the first time and only received a few looks and even a quick look from a couple of LEO's that were at the gun counter making a purchase. I was only using the Kahr PM9 so that might have been the reason I did not get that many looks since it is small.

I picked up 6 boxes of 9 mm on Thursday from Cabela's. They had everything but 380 auto and bricks of 22lr. Which I also would have purchased if they had it.

Nobody said anything about a limit though.

One of the sales associates that I asked if they had any 9mm said yes but that there was a six box per person limit. I should have picked up more and see if they would have stopped me. There was plenty of it.

I was there wed. I thought the prices seemed high overall. Does anyone else agree?

I think I saw them there but I won't swear to it. I didn't call you because I figured you were already busy enough doing the lumberjack thing. By the way congrats on your new grandson. I did mentioned it on the other site too.

We had a blast loading up the wood. It was like trying to tread water with a 500 lb weight in your arms. But boy is it pretty!
