    Default Jim Quinn

Did anyone listen to Quinn & Rose this morning? I only caught a little bit of the show, but I did hear Jim talk about open carry. He talked the legality of OC in PA and admitted that he OCed for a period of two years. He said that he carried near LEOs without a problem. He even carried in downtown Pittsburgh during the Regatta.

I listen to Quinn & Rose at work everyday but I missed him saying anything about that today. He in the past has said he carries and so has Rose.

I'm not surprised that Jim carries. I'm just encouraged that he is talking about OC on the radio. Everyone listening to his show already knows that he values firearm rights; however, not everyone who listens to his show knows that OC is legal.

In my opinion, it is significant whenever a member of the media discusses and encourages OC, even if he is a conservative radio talk show host. There are plenty of conservatives in the media that are not in favor of OC. For example, both Mike Pintek and Michael Medved are anti-OC even though they claim to be pro-2A.

Ive heard Jim Quinn talk about OC as far back as '96 or '97. It's been years since we've listened to him at work, tho.

The Quinn & Rose show is rebroadcast on AM 790 WAEB out of Allentown every night at 7:00 PM.

You can listen to it tonight again on the web.

I catch Q&R on XM in the morning and I missed it. I have WAEB on now trying to verify.

Jim just went on to talking about guns, then a break......then Nascar.

    Thank you WAEB.

Thanks for talking about all the fun things that happen in a giant left turn.

No offense to the Nascar fans out there. Seems to me to to be a visual kind of sport to me.
